A burly announcer cleared his voice and yelled, "In this corner we have a ferocious warrior dragon, Zyroth!" He paused for the fheering of the croud in the arena. "And in the corner we have a Djinn, the Outcast Prince, Cyrus!" I nodded to the announcer and put myself on a defensive position. I knew I couldn't over welm him, but I could where him out.

I looked at my opponent and shifted to dragon form to match his size. As the bell rang I charged him with half my speed which was still very fast. As I neared I pulled up so that he couldnt attack me head on and came in behind him to swipe at his back legs. I missed his legs and stumbled slightly with the force I used to swipe.
He missed my legs by inches, granite it wouldn't have mattered very much. But at least I didn't have to heal. My tactics would have to focus on defense, he was fast and massive. I lifted a hand and conjured a sword of pure light in it and a shield of blue healing flames in the other. I swung the sword and hit the shield, when it connected it resonated blue flames that curled outwards. I need him to attack, then I could attempt counterattacking.

Seeing as how my Dragon form wouldnt do much to hard him I shifted back. As he conjured his weapons I pulled out mine and took a stance that would be easy to block if I miss this next attack. I couldnt let hi win because it would show weakness in the Dragon race and he had done enough to shame them. He began to make his way towards Cyrus and was trying to inch closer. At a few yard away he shot a blast of flame that hit Cyrus in the chest and then charged with full speed at him sword pointed straight out to impale him in the stomach.
I absorbed the flames that hit me in the chest into my "heart", making its flame grow brighter. Woah, dragon fire feels good... I saw his sword coming to impale me in the stomach, so i let him stab me. As it pierced my body, I didn't feel a thing. I even walked forward and let it sink deeper. I slammed my shield into his chest, and took a swipe across it with my blinding light sword. I then jumped backwards dislodging the sword from my body, and prepared for the hell that was sure to come.

I was getting quit agitated and decided it was all Dragon time so I shifted to the size of a full grown horse. As I charged him I decided to just slam my body onto his and claw him. I ran as fast as I could and jumped strait at him. As my body made contact I began to slash rapidly at his chest.
As he clawed at my chest, I quickly intensified the fire in my chest. It swiftly made its way to all of my body. I was alight with blue flames. They were healing me just fast enough to counteract his attacks. As he drew an arm back to strike again, I rolled in that direction. His claws tore over me missing by inches. I stopped rolling, and came up in ready position and made my light sword appear in my hand. I charged forwards, ready go down fighting.

As he ran at me with his sword it sliced a cut into my side. Not deep enough to kill but it hurt enough to make me roar. I quickly shifted to human form and blocked his next blow with some effort because my side hurt so bad. As I blocked his sword he struck again and I dodged and swung at his neck. I misjudged my range and accidentally hit his shoulder cutting his arm but not enough to do any real damage except weaken it.
I felt the blade sink into my shoulder and exit again. I grimmiced, not in pain but the sensation, I hated the feeling. I jumped back and lit my hand aflame. I braced myself and pressed the flames to my shoulder. I collapsed to the ground, and cried out in agony. He was probably so confused as he looked on to me. I settled down, and slowly got to my feet with the wound on my shoulder gone.

I didnt know how I was going to beat him if all he did was heal himself but I decided to start getting limps so that he wont be able to attack or heal...hopefully. I was starting to get slowed down and couldnt do much about it. I pulled my sword back up and swung with a very hard downward motion towards his left arm.
