Aeardes Nallnae sprinted to the training fort, almost late, and slung her bow and quiver across her back. Can't be late, she thought determinedly, THIS elf is never late. She darted across the halls and into a  room with indoor targets and bows and arrows. Several small, delicate creatures turned to stare at her. She had been at Elducia for quite a few decades now, and she'd never been like this- she was always on time if not early to study. The teacher, a rather old male elf with a worn bow across his back, looked at her and motioned for her to sit down, including a sigh of disappointment.
"I apologize, Angoldaer." She folded her arms as he shrugged it off and began to announce the day's plans- it was the usual, indoor instructions about the archery unit (today it was shooting running targets from a treetop, Aeardes had heard most of this type before), then trying it out on targets, all of that.
